The Captain Cates Walk neighbourhood has requested the installation of an automated external defibrillator (AED). An AED is an emergency life-saving device essential to treating sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). SCA is a condition in which the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating. Through the Rotary Club of Bowen Island, the Rotary Foundation subsidizes part of the cost of each AED installation. The Club is using this store to collect the funds for the neighbourhood’s contribution to this AED.
To make your contribution, please select multiples of $100 by increasing the Quantity when you check out. If you wish a receipt, please create an account with this shop. Thank-you for your participation. Shortly after the installation of your neighbourhood AED, you will be contacted for a training session.

The proposed location of the AED is opposite 965 Captain Cates Walk and to the left of the stone stairs. http://j.mp/cateswalkaed
